    Possible specs of that system:

    AMD 64 3500+ or 3700+ If somehow x2,then 4200+ or 4400+

    512mb of memory

    On-board video card.

    80bg hd

    dvd rewritable

    17" LCD 8ms 16.2 colors (not true 16.7 color).

    Possible $300-$400 system.

Not exactly great. But if doing word processing, surfing net, other simple stuff (NO 3d gaming), it will do.

    Guide about getting a system:

No it is not worth it. At least 2 GB of Ram, you want like 80-120+ Hard Drive space, you want to go with a Dual Core CPU, you want a decent graphics card, how much were you going to pay for that anyway? I say not worth it in any case.

    An Absolute maximum of $250.00

See a much better albeit somewhat comparable machine below..

this computer is worth very little. I would suggest 2g of memory and a core 2 duo processor. depending on what you are doing video cards aren't as big a deal.

People don't care about all those details. The most important things people observe to are as followed:

    CPU

    RAM

    HD

    ROM drive

    GPU

    I also give it a 4

$225 max, you can buy a much better machine new for a few hundred dollars more
