Different American Airlines?

What are the different american airlines, I am doing some research about going to see my dad and id like to know what options i have, could someone give me a list please.

I know american airlines, southwest and pan american

    Pan American doesn't exist anymore..

    Here is a list of American Majors:

    American Airlines

    Delta

    United Airlines

    Continental

    Northwest Airlines

    Southwest Airlines

    US Airways (which recently took over America West)

    Alaska Airlines

    Jet Blue

    Air Tran

    These are the largest airlines
