how long do you have to request paternity in washington state?

does anyone know. i couldn't find the answer even on the dept of child support web sight. is there a time limit that means it's too late. my bf is paying on a child he doesn't believe is his. please help.

    Best to do it as soon as you can. He can request a DNA test in order to continue paying support. If he is found to not be the father, the woman MIGHT have to pay him back all that he paid her (rarely, but sometimes the courts will make the woman do it).

    Last I checked, there is no time limit.
