I am curious to know how many people who complain about the president actually voted.?
I don't agree with everything Pres. Bush has done but I do think he was the better of the two choices. I have heard many ugly things said about him and wonder out of all who have so much to say actually voted. If you didn't vote then you have no voice in what is done. That's what I say.
To live in a free country is a privilege as is the ability to vote. I hear people complain about Pres. Bush and say he's dishonest - what about Pres. Clinton? Atleast Pres. Bush has pointed his finger and say " I did not have sex with that woman." (something similiar to that anyway) I wonder how each of you would run the White House since it seems everybody has an answer -
If you didn't vote, then No, you have no right to be critical because you didn't care about this country, or what happens to it. You took that little bit of freedom and threw it away. The right to vote is YOUR say in what happens, when you choose NOT to use it the why would you have the right to go on and on and on about the president. Use your right, then you can say all you want. Yes I know all about the freedom of speech which is abused and misused.
It seems some cannot read beyond their noses. For those who think I am in favor of a war anywhere - think again. I sure didn't like the fact that 9/11 took place and since we did rid this world of a terrorist, yes I was in favor of getting rid of scum. I believe that it is time to let the Iraqi people take care of themselves and bring our people home. Until that happens, I will stand behind our troops, if you can't do that then go on over there and stand in front of them. Instead of complaining, prayer would be a more effective way to help our pres and our troops. If you don't believe in God, then I guess we will all be up the creek since complaining gets us no where but deeper in poop. If we don't stand together then this house (our country) is going to fall apart.

I voted - always do. It may not come out the way I voted, but I put in my 2 cents. I feel that those who don't exercise their right to vote don't get to say anything. They are not doing anything to help by not voting. Just sitting back and judging everyone else. Why should they blame everyone else when they have done nothing? Nothing does not bring change. It won't go away or change if you ignore it.

I would love to know the answer to that question. If you are too lazy to vote you don't have the right to complain about anything the government or any politician does. After reading some of the other answers I understand some things more clearly. Some people couldn't even understand that this was a question about voting , not about Bush.

I wish to God I could have voted. Unfortunately, they frowned on a 6 year old voting for president in 2000. Ah well, 2012 here I come!

What happens when you think both choices were so awful that you couldn't vote for either of them? I'm still a citizen & if I didn't vote because I couldn't stand either choice as a US citizen I have every constitutional right to criticize President Bush whenever & however I please (within the law). I would have been just a critical if not more critical of Gore if he had won.

There is no way to get an accurate answer to your initial question. In my experience those who complain the most are usually the same people that ADMIT they don't vote.

I couldn't stand Clinton so I voted for Republican in 2000.However by 2004 I realized what a horrible mistake I had made.So in 2004 I voted for the less evil of the three Mickey Mouse.Might I also say that of them Mr. Mouse is the only won to serve his country with great enthusiasm and distinction.

i voted for the democrats in both elections that Bush was in...
however, people DO have a right to complain because it is protected by the first amendment...as much as i disagree it is still protected.

I voted but not for Bush. I voted democrat in the last election and I'll vote democrat in the upcoming election. And I think the reasons are obvious.
