Do you think people violate Yahoo Answers?

Seems to me that we are all in violation of the guide line..# 12 under the Don't section it states this........

Don't ...",Post content for the purpose of gaining points"...

16 is a good one too

" Don't Falsely claim credentials or expertise that you do not posses "... hum..."read answers".. many violate that.

Now In the DO part ....

3. Be a good citizen....Before you write anything, ask yourself if your contribution increases the strength and virtue of the community.

.......now doesn't everbody ask themselves that.

    If everybody followed the rules.. there would be about 2 answers to every 5th question... what fun would that be?

    Yeah... maybe some of us go a little crazy with forcing biased opinions.. but common sense should be enough to tell the real answers from the fantasy stuff..

    Does anything in polls and surveys increase the 'strength and virtue' of the community?

    i don't claim knowledge that i don't possess, that always comes back to hurt you. don't post just to gain points? well, that one is violated very often, lol. lots of answers i've read say "thanks for the 2 points" or something similar, and lots of questions say, "be the first to get the right answer and get 10 points!" don't think that one is enforcable. how do you prove intent? as for the be a good citizen, well, i try.....some days harder than others, but i do make an effort. excellent question, have a star!

    I am sure most of us are doing that. I, on my part, do not even remember having read the guidelines. Must have clicked on absent mindedly. But most of my answers stem from my experience or heart.

    click on the report Abuse flag next to the respond, yet be conscious: in spite of in case you hit post, and the respond maintains to be, your report has been filed. this is basically that your have confidence isn't severe adequate to drop the violation.

    I don't claim anything I don't own

    I contribute my humour to the community

    Plus I have a huge crush on the hamster that is if he ever notices me :(

    You have a point.... but everyone is different / not perfect and your not perfect either although I imagine you would beg to differ with me on that.

    people just want to get points. i like getting points. my friend says whats the point. and theres no point just its fun toget points.

    I think many people just run amok on Answers. The best thing to do is to report, report, report...this is supposed to be a fun place, let's weed out the trolls
