Do the feds give precedence to an ISO-2000 company?
I just read that a few companies where cultivating Morel Mushrooms, but the feds are regulating them because of federal grants. Supposedly only ISO 2000 companies can buy from these growers. Why would that be?

ISO-2000 are a set of standardized business and quality assurance guidelines. They have been set-up for businesses to abide by to demonstrate good business practices. If the Fed gives money to a business in the form of grants, they can impose certain strictures. My money, my rules.
Whoops, I stand corrected :)

Caper is incorrect. ISO 2000 governs rubber manufacturing. Caper has this mixed up with ISO 9000 (quality standards).
ISO 2000 has nothing at all to do with mushrooms.
