I need the name and address of a commercial Morel grower?
I keep hearing there are commercial growers, but no one knows the names of any. The only one I have ever heard of is Terry Farm, which is no longer in operation. A phone number would be great.
1 AnswerOther - US Local Businesses1 decade agoDo the feds give precedence to an ISO-2000 company?
I just read that a few companies where cultivating Morel Mushrooms, but the feds are regulating them because of federal grants. Supposedly only ISO 2000 companies can buy from these growers. Why would that be?
2 AnswersCorporations1 decade agoFrench Horn Players...if money was no object, what kind of horn would you own?
What is the best Brand? What brand do symphony musicians play? I need feedback from regular people before I enter the music store with the silver tongued, slicky boy, salesman who could sale sand to an Arab....All I know is that it needs to be in the key of F and a double horn, other than that I'm clueless about french horns.
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhat is the BEST brand of French Horn?
I'm looking for exceptional sound quality, double F horn, preferably nickle plated. What brand do most conductors stand by?
1 AnswerMusic1 decade agoField meals...what sounds good to you?
Every year I take our neighbors (Corn farmers) a big lunch out to the field during harvest. Mostly to relieve the Wife, Mother, Grandma, trucking Matriarch of the family, (yes, they are all the same overworked woman!!) There is usually around 7 to feed. I'm running out of delicious, easy to eat on the run lunches. Any idea? Last year I took fried Chicken, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, pie & coffee....the year before that cheese filled manicotti & meat balls, Italian veggies, pie etc. The food needs to be able to be eatten with the hands or forks/spoons. Noting they have to cut while they eat, (like pork chops, or steak...) THe master of the family does not like cold sandwiches. It also has to be easy to serve from the tailgate of a pickup. PLEASE help me think...:)
6 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoDoes the expression "Age of Aquarius" have biblical connotations?
I've been seeing/hearing that expression a lot lately and I'm not sure exactly what it means. I (until recently), only remember hearing the expression in the old hippie song "Aquarius" (From the musical, "Hair") As in: "This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius". What does it mean?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs anyone familiar with the works of Zecharia Sitchin and his study of Sumerian Religious Culture?
I find it fascinating. And wonder if anyone has studied it and the similarities to the Bible.
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy does the Vatican keep so many documents vaulted and secret to the public?
There are many top secret documents that the public is unable to obtain. Why is this? Shouldn't all walks of faith have access to these documents? Why is access denied in many of the rooms in the Vatican? What are they hiding?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy are some close up satellite shots of the moon inaccessible?
I was looking at satellite images of the moon on the Clementine Lunar Image Browser http://www.cmf.nrl.navy.mil/clementine/clib/
I found it weird that several area on the far side of the moon looked rather blurry, (like they where erased or air brushed). When I clicked on to some particularly obvious smudged out areas, to enhance I got a message that particular spot of the moon was unavalible to view close up. There where a few spots on the front side as well. Something weird seems to be going on so I checked out other sights, and the same thing happened. You can see every square inch of earth through the terra server, (except military bases) With the moon being so much smaller we should have perfect images. Anyone know of a good lunar sight that doesn't have restrictions?
5 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoWhat illness did astronaut Alan Shepard die from?
I can't find anywhere that says the name of the disease, just that it was a long and painful death.
2 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agoDid you have bad luck with your (Wal-Mart) tomato plants this year?
We usually plant 10 -12 tomato plants every spring. Every year I can 20-25 quarts of salsa and few quarts of regular tomatoes and have enough to give tons away to friends and family. This year I purchased plants from Wal-mart garden center and they just sucked. Although they grew nicely, they hardly produced enough tomatos to enjoy fresh. Did any one else have this problem? Was it the plants or just the year. (Midwest USA)
7 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWhat is up with people who swap religion as often as they swap lovers?
Many people on this board state they used to be Christian but converted to Atheism...or used to be Muslim but converted to Christian. Or used to be Christian and converted to Muslim, or Wicca, Pagan or Pagan to Muslim...How can you even understand a religion when you treat them like a booty call? How many swap religions when you swap partners? How many are so weak in thier faith that they go with what ever their "lover" is doing? Or is it an attention sort of thing...Oh Mommy I'm going to be an Atheist so you will pay attention to me.....
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes Osama Bin Laden still have a $25 Million bounty?
Have you heard of any bounty hunters actively trying to locate him, (Non-military) How long do you suppose it would take to collect your reward after you brought him in, (dead)?
14 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWould you give your life for your spouce over your Children?
Maybe I'm all screwed up, but if I had to choose my kids or my man...I'd choose my Kids. My sister would take any man over her kids anyday, (abusive Husband bouncer) And my brother thinks his wife should put him on a pedistal above all else, (except God)...I see women all the time, chase men, and give up their kids for a man, or deal with child abuse for a man. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? Am I a freak for thinking my kids are the most important thing in my life? I'd die for them, I'd leave (or KILL) a man in a heartbeat that abused them...
32 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoWhat do you think about women who screw married men?
There is always so much talk about the Men who cheat...yes they are scum...but what do you think about the women they cheat with? 80% know they are married going into the relationship, but do so anyway. 10% find out within a few months but still continue, and 10% are one night stands that never find out. In your humble opinion, tell me how you would describe these adulterous women.

2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWomen, would you knowingly sleep with a bi-sexual man?
I was reading some old questions in the gay section, and someone asked if bi-sexual men told their female partners they also slept with men. They all said no but one. Isn't this wrong? I could never sleep with a bi-sexual and not that I'm a homophobic...I just couldn't have sex with a man who also places his penis in the anus of another man.

27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoToday's poll question. How many different religions, (or non-religion) are represented here today?
There appears to be a low number of people on the R&S today. I am interested in knowing the percent of religious backgrounds that are being represented today. Could you simply state your (non)/religion? Thanks
