What is up with people who swap religion as often as they swap lovers?

I see that all the time at school. It is especially true of the girls. I have seen a few girls "convert to Satanism" just to get laid. I find it pathetic and very common in needy chicks who have zero self esteem. The biggie right now are the girls converting to Islam. I find it hilarious. TYhey never got through the bible, now they think they will read the Koran and pray 5 times a day...LOL

After much study and thought, 35 years ago I converted from Christianity to Judaism. It has never entered my mind to change again. It is where I belong. If a person keeps changing religions, he must be looking for something he cannot find. Hopefully, he is studying alot before he changes. And, hopefully, he will find what he is looking for.

Religious seekers many times covert to different religions and try on different spiritual paths. It helps them find out about themselves. Because of the wealth of information on the internet, its much easier to find out about things you might be interested in. This I think is one of the Biggest factors in the coversion rate. It makes sense that people are now being exposed to new religions that they might tend to question more the religion that they were brought up in.

perhaps these people are on their journey to enlightenment and have not found the exact path they want to follow. there are those who will always be searching for something better than they have at the present time. personally until I decided to incorporate some Ancient Way Belief System Rituals and Ceremonies with traditional

Christian Religious Belief Systems I was not satisfied either. with these being combined I am very pleased and satisfied with the results.but my personal Belief System would not work for others because of my idiosyncrasies.

Not everyone is strong in their faith. I was raised Catholic, but a friend of mine convinced me to be a Wiccan. I tried that for five years before going back to the Catholic faith. I have no plans on changing religions again since I am now stronger in my faith then I ever was.

Stating someone was raised in one religion, and then converted, DOES NOT mean they are "changing religion like Bed Partners."

And if someone changed their beliefs more than once in their lifetime, what the hell business is it of yours?

I've been an atheist for as long as I can remember. I was taken to a Christian church when I was a child, but the stories I learned in Sunday School didn't seem any more real than the bedtime stories that Mom read to me at night. My husband does believe in God, so I guess your theory isn't panning out too well here.

Perhaps they are searching for the right path. If you join a religion you could know immediately if it is right or wrong for you, or it could take years. I think you should be more accepting of, and maybe even encouraging to those trying to find a good religion.

For me, it was much less like a "booty call" and much more like getting divorced from an abuser, taking a break, then finding real love later.
