Hi Wendy, If you already have high blood pressure, you cannot reverse it to low permanently. Instead, you can control your high blood pressure by taking a prescribed medication and amending your diet. Research has shown that a high blood pressure diet can effectively prevent blood pressure from rising above normal. Please look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/High_Blood_Pressu...

You can also use herbs like Tian Ma [Gastrodia Rhizome], Xia Ku Cao [Prunella] and Shan Zha to reduce high blood pressure. You should inject the juices of these herbs into your blood to achieve better results.

A unique and natural from acupuncture treatment for high blood pressure include pressing of the skin on the back of your hand in between the thumb and index finger.

There are some natural herbs for HBP. Garlic is one I know.

I have HBP too. However it's under control and I no longer need medication due to an all natural supplement nutritional juice call the mangosteen. My high blood pressure drop from 144/99 to 128/80. Wow! Of course it took about 6-8 weeks, but the good thing my doctor took me off my medication.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

I read an article on Yahoo a couple of weeks ago that Green Tea works really good for those with high blood pressure. It's worth a try.

In a recent study actually three things were shown to bring down blood pressure significantly. Tea (herbal), red wine (actually thins the blood to ease the pressure), and, of all things, chocolate. To stay healthy with the chocolate be sure to pick a darker variety. I've tried herbal concoctions and I keep coming back to these three sources. Tea is just 8 oz., wine is one glass, and chocolate is simply one square or an ounce. The included source is additional ways to bring down high blood pressure.

There are a lot of them. Have you ever heard about lycium barbarum? I began to take Goji berry juice. I had to go to the doctor. When my blood preeure was taken the nurse said it was high. However, when the doctor took it a few minutes (about half an hour later, it was down by 30 points(or whatever is used to measure pressure). I attribute that drop to Goji, which I had taken earlier that morning.

I have been drinking green tea for a long time, it has done nothing for weight loss or Blood Pressure, for me so far. Oat meal is very good and has been in a TV Add a while back. and of course a low sodium or sodium free diet should help bring it down

I just looked-up a natural remedies book and it says that garlic is really good ( 3 cloves a day is the dose.)Also reccomended is cutting out salt from your diet, yoga, meditation and drinking chamomile tea. Good luck!

Red yeast rice. You can find it at your local health food store. My mother takes them twice a day after meals. I took her off lipitor because I found out it depletes coQ10 from your system.
