Islam is polytheistic?
Muslims are always bashing Christianity for being polytheistic because they don't understand the trinity but in fact Islam is more polytheistic. Why? Because they hold that the text of the Quran is uncreated, eternal. Thus they hold two things; Allah and the text of the Quran to be uncreated and eternal and this is polytheism.
Will Muslims now drop their absurd claims that Christianity is polytheistic?

Qur'an is uncreated? What do you mean?
As for Qur'an being eternal, it means that it can be applied at any time, at any place - it's always update.
But seriously, what do you mean uncreated? It's a word of God, thus God created it.
EDIT: For your information I don't think Christians are polytheists. I just think they're a bit confused. I know I would have 3 images in my head while saying ''In the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit' DOH!

what? no, I dont say that christianity is polytheistic although some may say that and those people are not just muslilms. You said that islam is more polytheistic? it is not even slightly polystheistic. The Quran is not created by man, it is created by God. Who said it was uncreated? And it is eternal meaning it does not change and although times have changed so much since when it came it can still be applied today. It may annoy you when people say christianity is polytheistic but the claim is not as absurd as the claim you just made.

The Qur'an is protected by ALLAH from change and corruption. ALLAH has made sure the Qur'an can't and never will be changed. As for Islam being polytheistic it is not. Muslims like myself recognize that ALLAH is only ONE. Christians on the other hand seem to think that Jesus(PBUH*) is God which is utter blasphemy. They can't agree on whether Jesus(PBUH*) was the Son of God or God himself. The fact is that the Injeel as it was originally revealed to Prophet Isa(PBUH*) has been changed and altered by mankind. So now it doesn't make sense because there are so many verses either missing or altered from the original context. And the same applies to the original Torah that was revealed to Prophet Musa(PBUH*). The Qur'an is the word of God as well.

Uncreated? I don't really understand what you mean by that. Enternal? That just means that it contains knowledge that can be applied in different times. Unlike the Doctrine of Trinity, the Quran is very clear on what God is: God is One! He does not have parts, aspects, forms, shapes, sons, daughters, a father or a mother. He is One! Very simple. And this is repeated over and over again in the Quran so people will get this point very clearly and will not have any doubts about it.
There is however, only one problem: You have to read the Quran to figure that out.

No, you ahve it completely wrong. Muslims believe that Allah created the Quran nor do they worship the Quran. They respect it because it is pretty much Allah's property in a way. The quran is His words and should not be altered in any way, as they believe this is his only uncontaminated revelation.
Now, in hinduism, the Vedas are believed to be eternal, and hae always been and always will be. Perhaps you have these two confused.

Islam along with Christianity and Judaism is monotheist.
The Qur'an is the word of Allah as revealed to Mahammed just as the Torah is the word of G_d / YHVH as revealed to Moses (the Bible follows on from this).
I can see why it could be thought that the Trinity makes Christianity Polytheist but it is no different to Islam having 99 names for Allah. In other words it is many sides of one thing.

Very strange Question...
Qurran is the word of Allah and we have to follow it not because we do worship Qurran but because we do worship Allah....
We do really give the Qurran very high level of respect we do memorize it..learn the meaning of it...apply it our life....and even study the right pronunciation of each word in it....
Allah said in Qurran (interpretation of the meaning):
[59:22] He is Allâh, besides Whom there is Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
[59:23] He is Allâh besides Whom Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allâh! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him.
[59:24] He is Allâh, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

But it does not make Any sense PP, ...........Btw muslims do not 'attack' chirtainity for being polythiest or monotheist , "to you be your religion and to me be mine:....yes i don't understand trinity and thats why i never debate on this !! But let me show you something given by someone here on answers !!and this is not from a muslim source....you know we people are too busy in defending our own religion most of the time that we hardly get time to think of others !!
"The word Trinity is not found in the Bible . . . It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century." -- The Illustrated Bible Dictionary
Monotheism is the true belief in the God of Abraham which is why Jews and Muslims do not believe in the Trinity.
The belief that a diety can be three separate entities AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME is considered to be Polytheism.
"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.
This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault. The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.
The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God. These pagans must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)
Source(s): And Also One wrong concept can not prove other wrong concept as true !Quran is a message of God and we do not worship it, you would never see people praying toward Quran or bowing to it, it our holy book...........Btw taking quran in that context makes Bible a diety too thus trinity could change to God, Son, Holy spirit and Bible?? anyways !! we don't "attack" christanity.....but yes if someone ask us about this , we do share our ideas! and aren't we entiled to our opinions? We respect christainty Buddy !! becuase we aslo love Jesus as mush as you people do, Islam is the only non-christain religion which adore Jesus........!you won't see muslims bashing christaiity and the reason is obvious........Why would we bash someone who adore Jesus?? ahh yes but discusion is something else Peace be to you ! - AliLv 51 decade ago
Onbly allah is uncreated man
..Let me quote from the Quran about teh concept of one god...
Allah also says in the Quran
Allah says: “Allah does not forgive that anyone should set up partners with Him, but he forgives anything less than that to whom He pleases.” 4’: 48]
Allah loves those who turn to Him in repentance, and when His servant repents to Him, it pleases Him immensely. He says: “Allah loves those who turn much in repentance, and He loves those who purify themselves.” [Sûrah al-Baqarah(2): 222]
Allah says in the Quran
Surah Tuaba Chapter 9 or quran verse 2
(Translated by Yusuf Ali)
".....but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him. "
Verse 3
"And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith."
Surah 112. The Unity, Sincerity, Oneness Of Allah
1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
4. And there is none like unto Him.

We believe that God can not have a son nor be a son. What you are saying is that we worship the Quran but actually we use for guidance in our lives like the christians use the bible. So we accept your religion because you people are what the prophet has expanded on. But we don not think that the chrsitian faith is the true fatih.
