Pokemon Pearl Vs. Pokemon Diamond?

It depends on what Pokemon you want, though they're all available through trading.

I have Diamond and love it. But, if you want to make it easier to get other Pokemon, get Pearl, since the majority have Diamond, it makes it really easy to get Diamond-exclusive Pokemon.

And to the person who said you have to be 8 to enjoy Pokemon, thanks, I'm 21. And my daughter loves it as much as I do. <3

I made my decision to purchase both of them, but Diamond was more important to me because I like the dinosaur a lot better. :) The Pearl dinosaur is ugly. However, check out that site. If you love Slowpoke so much that you couldn't live without him, you might want Pearl.

i agree with kamela on the pokemon thing i'm 34 and i plan on getting a pink ds lite & diamond & pearl...

i got diamond, basically because it has the better pokemon...when i judge pokemon, i judge them based on their tournament worthiness (since i play in tourneys)...the version specials are better than those of pearl...and well...even teh game-box pokemon (dialga) is better than pearl's (palkia)...also...DIAMOND sounds better

i would go with pearl the legendary is easy to catch and more pokemon pop up and its fast and easy

I say pearl because palkia is easier to catch and he has AMAZING attacks. last he looks cooler in my opinion

same product different package...its a marking strategy if buying for a kid they will want one over the other or just both...so ask which one they would prefer to have first. If buying for yourself then its up to you.
