Is cellucor D4 thermal shock perfect for what i need accomplished?

Ive been working out for about 2 months already and i noticed that i am getting a bit bigger in muscle mass but i am not losing any weight. My goal is to gain muscle mass and lose weight. I am 5'9 and i weight about 175lb so i am overweight for my size. So i went to GNC and the guy said to use Cellucor D4 thermal shock to lose weight. So is this product perfect for what i am needing to do which is lose weight while gaining muscle mass at the same time? I work out about 5 days a week and i jog 2-3 miles a week as well and i my diet is ok. Today is the first day i'm using this product and when i took the first pill today, after about 30 minutes i felt real jittery and wired. When i took the 2nd pill a couple hours later i wasnt that jittery and wired. I never took any weight loss capsules before and im aware that it says this product is not for first time stimulant users. So after the 2nd pill im not feeling quite jittery so i guess im fine with this. Just following instructions on box.

I hope that you realize that muscle weighs more than fat - so what you need to concentrate is not necessarily weight loss, but your muscle to fat ratio. I think that the guy at GNC is throwing you a line so that you'll buy his product. If you're working out 5 days a week and train heavy, you'll gain muscle and your metabolism will increase because of the muscle gain that you're experiencing. I would increase your cardio from 2-3 miles a week to working up to jogging/walking 2-3 miles a day. You can keep track of how far you go by wearing a pedometer. 10,000 steps is equal to 5 miles - so that means if you can accumulate 10,000 steps during your daily routine, you will be getting enough exercise. Watch your diet - make sure that you're eating wholesome foods and include healthy fats like olive oil. Even though you weigh 175 lbs - you can still weigh that much if you maintain your lean muscle, but still fit well in your clothes, and look trim because you'll have more muscle than fat on your body. Get your money back from GNC.

  • Be carefull about those pills..personally I dont know anything about that particular one but..muscle weighs alot more than fat..which is prolly why you havent lost on the scale. But I bet your inches has gone down. Walking is great..running will eventually catch up with your knees..thats a real bummer too..eat alot of protein..little carbs..if carbs morning is a good time..just before excersise.!75 is a nice weight for a man ..my boyfriend is very fit and looks great at 175..and he is 5'8..so please dont be so hard on yourself. He is nice and meaty and muslces are fine..He loves to eat a nice meal..and works very hard physically all day and has no problems..carrying the 175..so think about that one and good luck..just be happy and grateful you have a nice body and good energy.peace!

First of all, why do you trust a clerk at GNC? They are not registered dieticians (the true nutrition professionals). Your listening to a minimum wage sales clerk who read the label. Sounds like they sold you legal "speed". Beware of abnormal heart symptoms.

Yes, if your goal is to lose weight your program is backwards. You need to jog/run/bike/swim, etc. 5-6 days a week for at least 30 minutes each day. Reduce your weight training to 2-3 days per week.

Weight training is important, but with many programs the purpose is to gain muscle mass. Increased mass = increased body weight. Focus on high rep/lower resistance programs.

Muscle weighs more than fat. So while you are burning the fat, your body is building muscle. That is probably why you see no weight difference. Measure your body. See the results that way. Don't go just by the weight in itself. Continue your workouts and continue eating healthy meals with low caloric intake.
