I looked up that word just a few weeks ago. I love psychology.
I have two bad fingernails for the longest. Those coworkers of mine have been going on and on about it. Hopefully, I can get it done next week. There has never been any gossip about me going, so I feel they've been jealous of me all of this time.
I cause no trouble. I take magazines for when I've got time to kill, do my share of the work. I have never used my epilepsy as a crutch. I have had lots of seizures there, but returned the next day.
I don't know exactly what they're jealous of, they're disability-free, with licensees, cars and can learn quicker than I.
You just don't go on and on about someone's two nails if unless there is somethng behind it.
I feel that it's a superiority complex.

Yes,and with pretty good reason. This guy was good looking, very strong and brilliant!
He had an arrogant air about him which was always disconcerting. If anyone had a question about anything...he rapidly answered and added amazing details!
When someone asked a "stupid" question, he brushed them aside with that same arrogance. He was totally unaware of how he hurt others!
I'm not sure if there was much "inferiority", but shyness was very present in his life from early on. I think he may have had some bad high school years...moved around a lot...always the "outsider".
Many years had to pass and he had to experience a lot of pain and discouragement to change. In time, he slowed down, seemed to care more, had more patience.
To this day, however, he has few friends and prefers his own company. There is a hint of the old arrogance, but he sees it and actually apologizes!

I knew a couple at my last job as a pc technician. They thought they were hot sh!t when really they had a long way to go to even get to my level, let alone the guy who had been there for 8 years.
On a side note:
What's it called when you feel superior but you aren't hiding any feelings of inferiority?
I figure there's some name for it because people wouldn't want to believe that anyone is simply superior, right?

I have a superiority complex, I think its because i see other people struggle with things that are relatively easy to me. I'm not arrogant about it I just know the truth is i work harder at things to better myself, eventually everything gets easier. Too many people don't think things through, most of the time, its because they have low self esteem and believe they don't have the ability. Excuse me for my generality but this pertains to all areas of your life. e.g. sports, school, work, social life. This is why motivational speakers are becoming big business. Always believe in yourself and YOU will be the superior one.

Most Insecure people have those traits and characteristics they tend to put others down to feel good about themselves I have worked around people like that and I have relatives like that too. They do so hoping it will conceal or hide their own issues and shortcomings..
