I usually cook one every Thanksgiving and Christmas but for 2 years in a row I can't seem to find one anywhere. I see that some folks on this site have managed to find one.

There's too much drama and I'm left to clean up afterward. I know how to tell them no but tact is not my strong suit. How can I do this tactfully?

My sister treats me like crap most of the time and at her convenience. Yesterday she blew up at me for something I didn't even do. So I disowned her.

Conveniently, she went into labor just a few hours ago and I don't plan on going. I have had it with her and her manic mood swings. Everyone says I'm the evil one for refusing to go to the hospital. How can that be?

A bit of history: When I gave birth to my son and he was in the NICU, she threw a fit in the hospital because the nurse would only let me bring one person into the nursery at a time and I picked my SIL (who had been waiting there with me for hours) to go first. She stormed out of the hospital and conveniently got sick and went to the emergency room the next day. My mom called my hospital room and tried to get me to sympathize with her even after what she had done to me. And once again, they are trying to get me to sympathize.

Am I just an evil witch with a grudge or am I within my rights to feel hurt?

My sister is always having emotional outbursts. Today while I was out shopping with my cousin, we realized that my cousin's phone had dialed someone and was connected for 4 minutes.

About a minute later, my sister called my cell phone yelling and screaming about how she just heard us talking about her because my cousin's phone had dialed her. The problem is that we were not talking about her. We were talking about someone named Juanita Bynum and how her husband had beat her up. My sister was in a violent marriage and I guess she assumed we were talking about her. Long story short, my sister was irrational and refused to tell us what she thought she heard. She overreacts like this all the time. She has fits of rage and never apologizes. She just lays low for awhile. Today I had had enough so I left her a voicemail telling her that I was disowning her and that I was tired of her treating me like trash. I was serious, still am.

Do you think I went overboard?

I don't want to know the answer. Please don't tell me the answer. I want to work it out for myself. I just need help figuring out the correct formula and method for the following word problem.

I went into the bathroom and the tub was filling up with brown water bubbling up through the drain. It's still filling up.

The sink next to it is not clogged and it doesn't have water in it.

But the toilet fills up with water when you flush it, but it won't complete a flush. I tied plunging but I don't even think it's a clog.

I start a new job in 2 weeks and there is a strong possibility that I may be pregnant but I'm too chicken to take the test.

I am in the market to purchase an MP3 player for Father's Day. I need something that will store at least 1GB and an FM tuner would be nice too. It is mostly gonna be used to link up to the stereo in my hubby's truck so I don't really need it to have an arm band or anything.

I'm looking at a SanDisk right now but I have heard a few negative things about it. I already know I DO NOT want an iPod because I have a broken one already.

Any other brands you recommend?

I have a dilemma. I have 2 sisters in-law who had babies within weeks of each other. To make a long story short one of them was having a long affair of 3 years with another man. Then her husband retaliated by having a fling with another woman. Lots of fluids being exchanged, etc. Anyway, slutty SIL wanted to breast feed her sister's baby one day but the sister didn't want her to because she had been sleeping around. But she ended up letting her do it because she didn't know how to tell her no. She is afraid of AIDS and hepatitis being possibly passed to her baby through breast milk. She asked me how to tell her sister the truth. Gimme some advice people!!

My friend has proven to me that she cannot be trusted. She has a passive-aggresive way of letting me know that she disapproves of almost everything I do. For example, "I don't approve of people who..." while knowing full well that I do that exact thing-- petty things from watching too much TV, eating too much meat, going to strip clubs with my girlfriends. I feel like crap every time I talk to her. I wanna tell her to kick rocks but there is a catch.

I am her baby's godmother!

She made me the godmother but she said it wasn't really a big deal. She didn't even give me the certificate after the ceremony and said that she forgot about it in her trunk and it got ruined. There are too many details to get into but you get the drift. I love my goddaughter but I honestly can't take it any more.

HELP!

I love God with all my heart but I had church shoved down my throat as a child. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I am finally at a point where I am considering leaving the church. I have nothing against those who are in the church but this is just a personal decision for me.

Church is full of hypocrites, we all know this because no one is perfect. What makes this intolerable for me is that the pastor of my church seems to play favorites and turn a blind eye to a lot of what is going on and some of these adulterers are ministers and deacons. Sadly, this seems to be the standard in most churches.

I AM 2 THROUGH!

I attend a mostly Black church and there is a handful of people who are notorious for wearing their bluetooth in church. ALL WOMEN.

They get dressed in the morning and put on stockings, dress, earrings-- bluetooth? The pastor has just lightly touched on the issue on a couple of occassions but people continue to do it.

Let me give you an example of why this is bad. At church one day I walked up to a lady that I knew and began speaking to her. I gave her a hug and said hello, how are you, etc. After a few seconds I realized she looked 'disconnected' from me and she wasn't answering me. Then she raised her finger and tapped her ear to indicate that she was on the phone. I felt small.

I recently realized that I haven't seen a cable bill in awhile. I tried to find an old one but had no luck. So I called DirecTV to get automated info on my account and it said that my balance is $70, my last payment was made in February but no payment is due at this time.

I don't know if I should even speak to a representative because if it's a computer glitch I'd rather just ride the wave.

I posted this answer to another question and I wanted to get more feedback.

I wish more people would be publicly racist because I like to know who I'm dealing with. I like it all out in the open so I can decide whether to vote for this person, or not. To be friends with this person, or not. To punch this person, or not. I don't think we should hush people when they're telling us who they really are. We should listen.

This is my rant about Sharpton, Jackson, and the whole TV hog crew.

* They rallied behind a woman whose baby was shot and killed by police during a standoff with the baby's father. When it was revealed that the baby had traces of cocaine in her system, it was quickly swept under the rug as an erroneous test result. Meanwhile, they forged ahead with a lawsuit against the police department.

* In Compton, a 13-year old boy was shot and killed by police at 3:00 AM when he tried to ram them with his car. The activists never bothered to ask his stupid mother why her son was 1) driving a car and 2) out so late at night.

* The activists jump on any non-black usage of the "N" word, but they fail to publicly single out and challenge rap artists by name and demand change.

I know in some rare cases we still do need activists, but lately I feel that they make things a whole lot worse by supporting people who are clearly wrong just because they are Black.

End of rant.

I have a clogged sink in my bathroom. I have a theory that dropping a couple Mentos down there and chasing it with Diet Coke, and topping it with a stopper will chase the clog down.

(Plus I'm extremely bored! LOL.)
