Why does it bother you to watch fat people eat in public?

It doesn't.

When they walk out of Pizza Hut carting 4 boxes of pizza, then it does.

OOh! Give me a break! No it doesn't. Sometimes fat people aren't that way because they eat too much. Many of them have been dieting for years and have been unsuccesful. They just have a really slow metabolism. Others have thyroid problems, etc. Also, they need more food to maintain the size they are! Is it better for them if they starve themselves?

Be glad you aren't like that and support their efforts to lose weight. Don't be part of the problem! The more depressed a fat person gets, the less they care about their health because they feel defeated. Food is their only pleasure and comfort.

You don't know how they suffer. Find somebody to pick on that enjoys it.

Not at all. Everyone needs to eat. If I don't want to get fat then I should make sure I don't. What other people put into their mouths is their business, not mine.

Drinking diet soda shouldn't bother anyone, either. I stay away from sugar to make sure my teeth stay healthy. I don't have any cavities or dental problems and I want to keep it that way.

I have looked at all types of people eating in public inadvertently and always felt funny when obese people see me and become self conscious. Everybody has the right to enjoy some food wether it is in there living room or out in public. I try to empathize with them and believe it must feel hurtful and depressing to some.

I think it bothers them more knowing that you are staring at them.

I think I would be bothered if someone was all up in my face and they were not holding conversation or admiring me, but the difference between them and me is I would acknowledge the stare because maybe something fell on my top or maybe they are just being plain rude! I am not fat but does that matter? I would still have to ask the person if they lost something or if they had a thought that they need to share with me.

It doesn't bother me at all to watch fat people eat in public - it bothers me to watch ANY person with bad manners eat in public, regardless of size.

It sound like it really bother you to watch obese people eat in public. Why do you call them fat people ? They are obese or a little overweight,but not fat. Sterotyping people is not very nice.

who does it bother?? I never pay attention to fat people when they are eating in public. If I noticed them eating in public I sure as hell wouldn't want to stare at them.

It does not bother me. Watching people eat is a weird pass time, find a new hobby.
