Your version of Vista is probably not on the correct media. You'll need to use another PC to get it working. Go out and buy a USB floppy drive and about 500 floppy disks. Then get to work copying the files from the DVD or CD onto the floppies. Or, just take your Vista DVD and mail it to Microsoft, and they will mail you back a copy of Vista on floppy disks, although there is probably a shipping and handling fee. Vista should run on the Amiga 1200 from the floppies, but you might have to swap the disks every 20 seconds or so for 8 or 9 hours to get it started.

of course not is a pc from 92!!!! you probably do not have enough memory or hard drive space to install it. Go to the Vista readiness site to check for issues.....if for some reason it passes, and doesn't show any real issues....then check the disc for any errors.

If your computer was bought more than 1.5 years ago, chances are it cannot support Vista. Get a refund.
