What would you do?

we have just come back from staying with a friend in her holiday home. It was myself, husband & 2 girls. My friend lives in her holiday home with her husband & 3 girls. When she stays with us, I run around been the good hostess, 3 meals a day + snacks & spend time interracting.

This is the 1st time we have stayed with them, we arrived on Friday & stayed till today (sunday), during that time, she gave us 1 meal, which wasn't even what I do for a snack & she just wanted to sit in the pub all day & night getting drunk. She wants to come & stay with us again in 3 weeks, but after this week end, I'm reluctant but don't know what to say, what would you do?

I would need a break from this person and would tell them something has come up and you regretfully have to say this is not a good time. Do not be surprised if she insistantly ask again because you sound like a wonderful hostess. Do not allow yourself and your family to be used as a hotel.

Tell her you're all tied up with school (or otherwise use the girls for an excuse) and this is not a good time. Don't let her stay, ever, no matter what.

Tell her that you just don't have the room or will be busy this weekend or some other excuse and offer to make a reservation at a motel for her.

Very simple screen your calls do you have caller id? If so ignore her calls and don't visit her until she takes the hint.
