How does one walk in their healing?

I am 33 years old and for as long as I can remember I've struggles with illnesses. I was diagnosis with diabetes at the age of six and ever since then I've been prone to all kinds of sicknesses. If it was not one thing it was another thing wrong with me. I am a believer in Christ and I am a member of a church in which I go regularly. Recently, they found that I had kidney disease and other complications due to the diabetes. I was not doing so well and I was very close to kidney failure. The church prayed for me and I got better. I was out of the hospital and back on my feet. Soon after, I got sick again and other complications have come up. I felt discouraged and when people will ask me "How are you feeling?" I would give them an honest answer "not well". The answer I would always get from them was"Don't say that, you must speak with faith and walk in your healing". How do you do that?? Do I just say I'm feeling good even when I'm not? I don't know what to say anymore. Help!

Hopeful I too have diabetes type two and i'm currently on a pill and have a heart condition with one dead artery 1 with a blockage of 95% and another of 25% and taking medicine for this also and i know it is hard to walk if faith sometimes and i was healed before from God and when he healed me i knew it and it would never come back and this was a blood issue and it hasn't come back, look at it this way why do we go thru things like this sometimes i don't know but i do know this my God loves me and he will take care of me, but there are times when God allows things to happen for a purpose it might be to teach us about compassion so we can pray for others with this compassion and to be able to be put in places so God can us to reach out to others in there time of need I mean look what Jesus did even though he knew he would suffer many things for the rightousness of God and he still went through it anyway so Jesus said in order to reighn with him we had to suffer with him, so are we willing to suffer for his name sake or are we going to complain about it i'm willing to suffer for his name sake and try to do what he wants me to and to reach others with his love in the prosses.

The words, "Walk in your healing", don't appear anywhere in the bible according to the Internet. If it did, it probably would apply to ones spiritual healing because that is the most important healing a person could have. The people that are telling you to not disclose that you don't feel well are actually asking you to lie. I certainly hope they aren't members of your church. Even though many people are uncomfortable getting a sad response to their question, "How are you", it is heartless for them to say that the afflicted one should have positive thinking and should walk in their healing. I wonder if those people read or really understand the scripture at James 2:15-16:

"If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what benefit is that?" They're doing nothing to strengthen your faith which is in the power of God,

In other words, true Christian brothers would really care about your health and sense of well-being and would offer to help you in any way they could with cheer-full hearts. Please, believe me that there is such a congregation that doesn't hold back in helping their brothers. Jesus said that we would know his people by the love they have among them.

Perhaps you could come to terms with the fact that there is no 'healing god' out there to hear you.

Maybe you should try and seek out a realistic solution such as going to a doctor and following his recommendations. The people at your church are playing you for a fool. They just want your money. I am sorry but that is the truth. When you really think about it, we only have each other. No gods, no miracles, just each other.

    I wish you the best.

You believe God is good. You believe He loves you. You cannot know what way God's plan works for you, except that He will lead all things to the glory and happiness of those that love Him. Perhaps in stead of praying you might turn to praising His great Plan and thank him for the love you experience from moment to moment.

This is the best way that I can find to tell you. My favorite one is "For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart." Think positive thoughts and positive things will come out of your mouth. God bless and I will be praying for you.

    Words Reveal Character

33"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for (AK)the tree is known by its fruit.

34"(AL)You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? (AM)For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.

35"(AN)The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil.

36"But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in (AO)the day of judgment.

37"For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

I would say that you tell the truth, but remain hopeful. Something like "I'm not feeling well, but I'll beat it."

Positive thinking can do wonders for your body in this fight.

Good luck, I'm pulling for you.
