100 sets with 5 lbs. or 50 sets with 10 lbs?

i was wondering if lifting a 5 lb. weight 100 times is the same as lifting 10 lbs. 50 times

no lifting more weight less times will make you bulkier. less weight more times builds leaner muscle and helps with endurance. you decide. have fun building up that lactic acid.

i think it depends on ur muscles. if ur ripped (exaggerating a little) but if ur ripped 5 lbs isnt gonna feel that heavy, u could probably do 100 easily. 10 lbs might be in ur range so do u would do that. and if u tried 50 lbs 10 times that would too make a difference. 4 isnt alot of reps. neither is 10. i think quantity has more effect than quallity in this one.

so, in my mind it does make a difference.

100 sets of five can give you stamina, 50 sets can do the same. But if you use more weight at lets say 20 sets you build strength.

I think so. The only difference is that you will tire out more the other way.
