its crazy. I just saw a 20 yr old girl have this logo on her car seats. Hello kitty is supposed to be for little girls!!!

I'm vietnamese...I can't stand Hello Kitty. I NEVER liked it. MOST of my asian friends can't stand Hello Kitty. Not because there's some thing going on with hating a certain country or whatever but just because the cat is SO ugly. And it's overrated. I'm guessing it's the native people in Japan and whatever who make it this popular o_0
People over there can sometimes have very strange tastes :S

I'm caucasian, and I absolutely love Hello Kitty. Also, I'm 13. :)....She's sooo cute! I know about 9 Asians, and they don't mind Hello Kitty, but aren't so into her.

i agree with the person above and i fall under that category of asians (im korean) who have a hostile feeliing towards japan and stuff yet im in the us
it is very insulting because hello kitty is a japanese thing
its not just asians also

why do Americans like superman so much? hello kitty originated in Japan.....so that's just the norm there.
