Greyhound Line?
I am traveling on the greyhound. Any advice on what to take with me on the bus? I will be traveling for nearly 2 days. This is my first trip on a greyhound, and I just want to make sure I am prepared. Any ideas, advice, experiences, etc.? Thanks in advance!

For that long a trip, bring a small pillow and a blanket. Wear slip-on shoes so you can slip them OFF when seated for long periods. Lots of small change for buying snacks and drinks at short stops. A good book to read. Dress in layers, buses are often either "too hot" or "too cold". Watch out for people who ask personal questions, like where you live, etc. If such happens, quietly but politely cut off the conversation. Some criminals hunt for victims on buses.

good luck with riding Greyhound
their service has gone to the dogs, they operated
very crowded buses, people have been known to stand
for hours on end,or endup at a station closes at Midnight
while waiting for a second section which may or may not
even be operated by greyhound,
or having to walk 3 miles to the station where the dispatcher
forgot to send a rescue bus!
I would suggest Amtrak or another bus lines
also there is a very high chance that Greyhound drivers
will go out on strike and that means NO GREYHOUND
BUSES will running..
as the drivers union have refused the latest contract
at this time
good luck
