It seems that after death the souls continue growing as if they were on earth, except at a slower rate; 100 human yrs = 1 spirit yr or something to that affect am not sure of the actual conversion. Proof of this Rukia died as a baby. He sister abandoned her and married byakuga, then made him promiss to take care of her on his death bed. Her body grew from that of a infant to a teenager. The families inside of the wall am not so sure about maybe somehow spirits have baby's and families like the kuchiki are decendents of them (They would be spirits that never had bodies to begin with, this is only a guess though no proof on this one)

2. They're death is worse than a human death. When a death god dies the soul is erased from existence. The first death kills the body the second kills the essence of existence; no soul = no existence =(

3. He could but i don't think that the higher ups in soul society would allow it. Also the place is huge he probably would never find her. All the good spirits that ever existed reside there so its a long shot. And besides all of that her soul was eaten by a hollow so it might not even be there

4. I think Kuchiki wanted to kill him cause he was breaking the rules (broke into inner circle of soul society with ichigo). Sounds simple but thats how he's been since he made a promise to his parents to never break the law and uphold it.

5. Ganju's brother was possessed by a hollow so he begged rukia to kill him before it took over completely and took his soul. SPOILER It was important to Kaien not to die alone. He thought if you died surrounded by ur comrades that they would inherit your heart. Dying in any other way is as good as never existing to him, so he needed her to kill him so he could die among friends.

1. Yes, all people who inhabit the soul society are dead. They grow at a very slow rate, around 100 years in Soul Socirty for every human year. I don't know how the clans are royal, maybe the royal before they passed on?

2. They are 'spirit beings', so they can still be killed as Spirits and cease to exist. They have spiritual bodies that act like real bodies.

3. That is a good question! Ichigo's mother was killed by a hollow, the Grand Fisher, and if he ate her soul then no, she wouldn't have been able to pass on to Soul Society. If not, it would be really hard to find her, Soul Society is a huge place. And it would be really hard to get her a body, it breaks the rules and I doubt anybody would allow it.

4. I don't think it was so much that the Shiba clan is special, more that Ganju was a ryoka, and Byakuya had to fight him and stop him. He broke the rules, and Byakuya promised to never let the rules be broken again, which is why he was going to let his sister die.

5. Kaien Shiba was possessed by a hollow. Rukia did not kill him, she was unable to, but for a moment he gained control of himself, and he leaped onto Rukia's sword, ending his life before the Hollow could take over again. Rukia was horrified that she was powerless to help him and blamed his death on herself.

6. Kisuke Urahara. He is a former captain of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13 (13 Squads). He is also the founder and the first president of the Shinigami Research Institute.

7. Yes, Ichigo's father seems to be a Soul Reaper. He knows Kisuke, and they seem to be old friends, and he fights the more powerful verison of the Grand Fisher as a Soul Reaper, easily defeating him. He knew all along about his son and about Kon.

8. For reasons unknown, so far. It seems she helped Kisuke run away from Soul Society and hide as a shop owner. Other than that, nobody knows.
