Is there a way to change a "Thumbs Up/Down" rating the other way around once you've given it?
Earlier today I meant to rate someone's answer Thumbs Up for a Good Answer. After Yahoo got done "saving..." it, much to my dismay, it came out as a Thumbs Down instead! No matter what I tried, I couldn't fix the mistake. I apologize to the person who was affected by this mistake.
Note to Yahoo--can you please update the Answers software so that we can change our ratings in case that we make a mistake and/or change our minds? And bring back the Thumbs Up/Down ratings for Questions, too. Thanks!

I examine this two times. the way you layer longer tale-appropriate prose is admirable, and a few thing I even have a lot difficulty with. you're making it look simple, organic, yet all people who write comprehend the different is authentic. I regularly degree the effectiveness of somewhat via the variety of TD's........Jealousy rears it is green head. Kudos to you, Mr Carney.

No, it can't be changed. Like you, I wish Yahoo would bring back the old ratings for Questions too!

No, you can't change it, but that's OK, it doesn't affect the person who answered to get a thumb down. It doesn't take any points away or anything.

Note to Yahoo - no need to change the Answers software. Most of us are smart enough to click onto the correct icon.
Note to asker: C'mon, there's points involved. The "best answer" gets a bonus point for each thumbs up they got. At some point, the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" that you give MUST become permanent or you could remove your "thumbs up" from someone that got best answer and then they'd have to take that person's bonus point from them. Changing this one small thing to accommodate people like you causes a ripple effect that requires other changes. Quit being so selfish. Just because you screwed up and hit the wrong button doesn't mean the rest of us need to pay for it with changes. Just be more careful in the future.
