Does anyone else sleep on the couch all the time?
I have a really cozy bed, but never sleep in it. Is it bad for me to sleep on the couch every night?

You know what? I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one. For over one year, (there was a significant change in life that stated it), I prefer to sleep on the couch rather than the queen sized bed in the master bedoom. People come in and ask if they can sit on my 'bed'.
I don't know if it is good or bad, but I do know my back and neck have hurt less in the am since I began sleeping on the couch.
And its not the tv or anything else, there is a tv in the bedroom as well.....
I think as a single parent, for me, maybe psychologically if someone is going to come in the door, (the couch is right beside the front door), they are going to have to come through me before getting anywhere in the house.
I am trying to 'wean' myself off the couch though. When I start seeing someone again, really....I need to be able to sleep in a bed........

I do. . . even if I have a very cozy bed I prefer to sleep on the couch. Sleeping on the couch lessen my tossing and turning especially when I can't sleep immediately. And I see nothing wrong in what I'm doing. So I think there's nothing wrong with you sleeping on the couch every night. Just make sure you've got enough support for your neck and back.
If you feel tired after sleeping in the couch, it's probably time for you to change it so that you'd have a good night sleep. Enjoy sleeping ........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

No, as long as you have proper support for your neck. I slept on a couch for about three months after a breakup, cause I just didn't feel like sleeping in a bed. I was fine.

I dont think its bad for you. I used to sleep on the couch when I had trouble sleeping in bed. I would toss and turn. But when I slept on the couch - I didn't have room to toss and turn and I'd go right to sleep.

It can be if your couch doesn't have proper support for your back. Most couches are uneven. You would be better off sleeping on the floor.

no itrs not wrong to sleep on the couch sometimes its just better than the bed you could end up with a sore back and neck if your not careful

Sleep where ever you feel most comfortable. As long as you aren't waking up with a sore neck or back from it, I can't see what the problem would be.

yes @ no.... I sometimes well alot have to sleep on my recliner because my 2 back surgeries haven't worked and too long on a bed kills my back. I can hardly move after laying too ,long in bed, but if you have a great gal like i do sometimes you have to sacrifice pain for plesure.
