Dont kill me ya'll but ........what is Emo?

There's two different words: Elmo and Emo. Elmo is a red character from sesame street while emo is a stupid fake word that someone made up to describe people that are emotional, wear all black, are socially isolated from others, possibly are suicidal, have many piercings, cut themselves with razors and could be antichrist-like.

Emo is short for emotional. Emo music is can be slow or fast paced. It has more to do with lyrics than song speed. The topics are usually love related. Some stereotype the muscians as goth but anyone can like or make this type of music. It isnt restricted to any group

It is some sort of group of people that think that their parents and the whole world is against them so i guess that was the only name they could come up with EMO. Stupid huh?

Its not gay or anything... its just some depressed kids, thats all its like in between goth and normal (whatever normal is) its mostly lonely boys that get dumped by their women and become loners, thats it

Emo is like people who choose to be sad they wear dark clothes and btw other answerer gay is not an adjective.
