How long before NASCAR bans bottles at the track?

with the recent rash of 'fans' throwing drinks and trash on the track while the drivers are still out their, how much longer until you think NASCAR ban's the fans from bringing anything to the track.?

And if they do ban the fan's from bringing drinks and food to the stands, who will the fans blame?

A few bad apples always spoil it for everyone else. When people start thinking that a privilege is a right it starts going south.

Then, when everyone has to buy beer, sodas, food, etc at the track, everyone will start crying that the tracks are trying to rip them off. People need to grow up. And if you can't handle your booze, leave it alone.

It's up to the individual race tracks, not Nascar. Each track sets the rule for what is brought into the track, not Nascar. Nascar doesn't own the tracks. The tracks already has over priced beer for sale. Besides, do you think that beer cans bought from the track can't be thrown as opposed to beer cans brought in by the fans? It seems to me that either can be thrown just as easily.

I think that what will happen is that nobody will be able to bring any food or drink into the stands. Nascar will probably have an area for eating and drinking and everyone will be checked before going back into the stands. Then the idiots that throw things will complain about it. Go back to watching irl.

If Nascar keeps on banning the fans then nobody will be there to watch it anyway. If they banned me then I would get tickets to the next race and through trash at Gordon again. They can't stand it when their little PUS gets upset.

Probably sooner than we think if the losers that throw stuff don't quit. The TRUE Nascar fans know who's to blame... and that's the Nascar fans that are poor sports !!!

Glass bottles are already banned. I don't think they will ever completely ban food and drink in stands because they wouldn't sell as much. They will probably start banning the bringing in of your own food & beverages.

the fans are to blame, they should not throw stuff on the race track. for one they could injury someone. and garbage that they throw gets on the grill causes the engine to overheat. i went to a race and they wouldn't even give us a napkin because they were afraid it would fly out on the racetrack. some fans are very ignorant i don't like all the drivers but i do respect their right to race

  • Many tracks already ban glass of any sort. I worked "gate check" at our local track one year, and we looked in coolers and backpacks to make sure there wasn't any glass in them.

I think the arrests at Talladega will hopefully make the idiots think twice next time. 12 people have been permanently banned from buying tickets at 'Dega and LVS, and possibly other tracks as well. Serves them right.

they will hold off until they can get the track owners to take the blame. Fans will blame all of those invisible people who threw debris...it could not have been them...

The next time it happens. Then the price for us true fans will increase because of the fools that want to get drunk.
