Can I start my grooming business from my home?
I just finished my studies in Pet Grooming through Penn Foster and I am doing the hands on studies. As soon as I have finished about twenty dogs (to obtain experience) I want to start our business. I was wondering if it was legal to do this type of business from our home and if there was anywhere I could find the laws governing zoning.

The answer varies by city and county. You should go speak to someone at city hall to find out what the regulations are with regards to home-based businesses in order to obtain your business license.

A local groomer is going house to house with a trailer. They did it for a bit over $10,000 a few years ago. They groom my sister's dog. The are cleaning up, literally and figuratively.
