Fuel filter for my 2004 chevy truck?

5.3 litre vortec

I am just lost over where the fuel filter is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    That is the year that some of the General Motors trucks do not have fuel filters...If it did come with a fuel filter, it will be located on the inside frame rail below the drivers door...

    But, dont be surprised if is doesnt have one...The part store will still show that it came with one...

    The fuel filter is on the inside of the frame rail on the drivers side i believe. you should start there.
