do you think jk rowling will write another hp book??

JKR has said that she won't be writing any more Harry Potter books after the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

From JKR's website:

Q: Will you write more Harry Potter books after the seventh?

A: If you mean more novels, then I think it highly unlikely. I’ve got enough story for seven books and I never planned to carry the story beyond the end of book seven. I might do an eighth book for charity, a kind of encyclopaedia of the world so that I could use all the extra material that’s not in the books... we’ll see!

I do hope she decides to write that encyclopaedia!

i doubt it...as much as fans always want more, an author tends to like closure. i know jkr's said on several occasions that she has no intent on doing a prequel, and i bet she just wants to move on after 10 years of writing hp

I have heard her say she will not. The series was only meant to go seven books, and will go that far.

Its too bad - I don't want teh series to end!

I hope not. If she keeps writing HP books, they'll become stale and boring.
