What's the deal with men wearing wool hats?
I know I was an 80's fashion teen, but I see guys in their 20's wearing wool ski-type hats at the gym and outside when it's at least 70 degrees outside. Is it a weight thing? I really don't get it, please explain...

Not all knitted hats are made of wool, but all of them are designed to keep the head warm, which is usually inadvisable in hot weather. The key is that these guys are in their 20's, an age group that has never been known for listening to advice from wiser or more knowledgeable people--they don't believe that there are any!

Just like any generation, people will follow a certain trend to fit in due to their inability to define self expression themselves from their lack of imagination and or intelligence.

I wondered the same. Does look rather weird to me, especially when it is summer. That Timberlake guy is one who wears them, guess he thinks it makes him look cool
