    36 inches.

    The radius is 3 feet long, because the radius is half of the diameter.

    Then to find the inches, you multiply 3 by 12.

    Radius is half the the diameter. So if you have 72 inches(6 feet) in diameter, the radius would be 36 inches. Half of 72 is 36.

    12 inches in a foot, so 6 feet is 72 inches, divide that by 2 and you get...........36 inches! The radius is half the diameter of a circle.

    The diameter of a circle is twice the radius.

    6 ft / 2= 3ft

    3ft = 3x12 =3 6inches....
