Question about child visitation?
I have a friend who is going through a nasty divorce. Well the courts told her today that her ex can't see there daughter until mom sets up some papers saying when and how he can see there daughter. And she has to get them noterized. Mom just has to type something up saying when he can see there daughter. She just doesn't know exactly what to type up. Are there any forms or something she can get or I can print up for her? Any help would be great. Thank you. Also we live im Missouri if that makes any difference.
Mom types up the visitation schedule but dad has to agree to it too. It's not just something mom makes up and the heck with dad. But she does have to get it notarized.

The usual visitation schedule is: Father get's daughter every other weekend (From Friday evening until Sunday evening) and at least one evening a week (usually dinner). That is pretty much the "basic" overall visitation schedule. I'm guessing that the judge put it in her lap because she was making a major fuss over what the court had decided.

I have never heard of such a thing. There should be a state regulation and specific guidelines, and the court is supposed to order the visitation, not one of the parents, this sounds totally bogus, I hope Dad has a lawyer.

when I did that. I just put
To whom it may concern, (make sure you date it too)
I so and so give (ex's husband;s name goes here) permission to see our daughter on so and so days. just indicate what days are good for her and you. Make sure you state the start time and finish time. Like if its a school night you know she has to be back by 7pm. weekends by 8pm the latest. Sign it and then get it notorized. Its very easy. if you need any thing else im pretty good at this because i have been doing it for two years or more. Now I don't have that problem.

you can get themonline or through your court but i have never heard of such an arrangement. the minimum vistiation ofr a non custodial parent its every other w/e 2 weeks in the summer and alternating holidays, keep in mind thats the least ammount

Well when my mom and dad got divorced my mom made it so he can come see me when her or my grandma was around. I don't know of any forms though.
