Holiday for One!!????
I want to go away by myself, get away from all the stress. So the option of someone coming with me is a no NO!
BUT i cannot find a holiday package for ONE person. Yeah i find some for two people at like £200.00 each, but if i go on my own, then i gotta pay the £200.00 twice for the double room.
Does anyone know of any holiday deals for one out there, i am 19years old and really need a break. I just want sun sea and sand and a little night life,
PLEASE HELP!!
Thanking you in advance x

Now, you are in Britain, I assume. I have not travelled Europe by myself, except in a tour group and they rush you from one place to another! Certainly that's not the way to get UNstressed!
However, a friend of mine went to see Europe using the Eurail pass and she said it's great. She was from Singapore where I was also originally. She flew to London and then got the pass. A lot of planning needs to be done, though, before you embark on such a journey. You have to decide where you want to go,etc.
How about other places in your lovely country?
Like the Lake District, for instance?
Can you get a single room, instead of double room?
I know in the USA, this is possible because I have travelled quite extensively on my own, before I got married. I only paid for a single room. You can get a decent room with one bed and a bathroom attached. Truckers in the USA travel mostly by themselves and their companies will not pay for a double room for just one employee! Most sleep in their trucks(lorry) but I have seen some trucks in the hotel/motel's parking lot!

I have a single friend in America who does lots of holidays on her own - we met on a Mediterranean cruise - that could be something for you to try. She's also recently been to Cancun in Mexico and a cycling holiday in France and a tour for one in China. I'm sure if you search on the internet, or perhaps go into a large agents you'll be able to get something. Good luck and happy holidaying!

Get the Lonely Planet or google it to find cheep places to stay. Get a cheap flight with Ryan airs or another of those cheap air lines:-)
Otherwise, contact the holiday package people and ask how much they charge extra for a single room.
Have a nice holiday!
