Callcenters out of United States? Why?

i work in a callcenter in costa rica. i have lots of friends who works on others and the common thing we have is that customers ask "why is the companies callcenters, out of united states and why are we stealing their jobs". do you think we are? just think, can you handle mad cs on the phone even if they are in the same country?

    They outsource their call centers because they can save money. I don't think they are stealing our jobs. It's not the other countries' fault. It is upper management that makes the decision. I worked at a call center for the world's largest electronics retailer. Some departments were outsourced to other countries. Mainly, callers get upset because some of the call center reps don't speak English very well and they have a hard time understanding them. I know how it is in a call center and I know how hard it is to deal with angry customers.
