It is well known that loud noises have an adverse effect on memory function.

I'm not really sure, but if I look at bikers, people with loud exhaust on their cars and trucks as well as kids with boom box cars. I tend to think that their memory has been affected. As they have forgot how to be civil, responsible, caring, respectful of others rights and how to be law abiding.
Maybe loud noise does affect memory if not civic sensibility.
