Return To Innocence by Enigma. Album MCMXC A.D.

This song has given me clarity and pulled me from a moment of darkness and despair on more than one occasion. It helps me find that little bit of inner strength I need, and I swear after playing it over and over a few times, I'm feeling empowered, thinking "you know what, f---' it", and refuse to let whatever it was get the better of me.

The whole album is quite spiritually lifting, and soothing at the same time.

It depends what kind of 'hellish' day you've had that's all.

Another song that generally just sparks my mood is "Where the Streets have no Name". This was my anthem during my 4 year global voyage. When things would mount up and get too much for me, I could play this and it would remind me I don't have to put up with the crap. There's always a better situation/place etc, and to move on in search of it rather than let an existing one bring me down.

For me, its all about adopting the attitude of "you know what, I don't give a f---", and getting beyond whatever it is that's making your day hellish. Psyching yourself into believe you really don't care, for me, is better than letting things we cant change eat us up.

Hope you find the song you are looking for.
