Dog Food RECALL ALERT: Royal Canin?

I stopped using royal canin when my mom told me that they had been sued over their food way before the recall came out . I think they duped everyone and were dishonest to begin with . will never ever feed their food again.

What I don't get is that on many of those foods "rice protien concentrate" or "rice gluten" are not on the labels. So what is the contaminated food source???

I was feeding Natural Blend for more than 5 years. 2 weeks ago one of my dogs came down with a mysterious illness (abdominal pain and some vomiting) that the vets have not figured out why he was sick. Fortunately, just about the time he got sick, I was in the process of finding a new food (which he did eat AFTER he was already sick). He has recovered now and seems to be doing okay now. I am waiting to hear from the vet if it could have been related to the food. Then I will be contacting RC about it.
