Anyone been fishing lately and what did ya catch?

Last week I went for a while when I was doing a float trip in Missouri. I caught a handful a of largemouth, a nice smallmouth, and a 13 1/2 in. white crappie on a shad colored crankbait. I also caught some huge sunfish (redear I think) on the same crank bait.

By the way I think use that same purple worm that you have on those photos.

Edit: Well not that same worm exactly but very close. My three main worms I use are http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/P... In the electric blue (# 78), http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/P... in the watermelon seed color (# 14), and I bought some of these but I've not been able to try them out. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/P... I have them in the red shad color (#25). And I think I'm going to buy some of those culprit worms you have posted.

Walked out back to the pond and caught 48 small bass. Not a one of them over 1 1/2 pounds but lots of fun on the ultralite and 4lb test with a Zara Pooch. Not bad for 90 minutes fishing time.

Great to know you are still using those Culprit worms. They are tough to beat. Been using Culprit for close to 25 years.

Yesterday I went to a nice stocked lake I've never been to before. I was disapointed to find a lot of garbage, so I brought some with me. Caught my limit (5) in brook trout, and then a whole bunch more. Biggest was about 1.5lbs. Light gear and little gold spinners tipped with a worm. Good fighters those little guys! Also threw back a 3 or 4 lb sucker, that was actually kinda pretty looking.

I also saw my first tornado! or whatever it was.. It came crashing through the forest and right onto the lake about 150ft from me!!!!!! Never seen that before and maybe never been so scared!

I am a Deep sea Fishing charter boat Captain on Sint Maarten in the Caribbean. I fish , or take people out fishing everyday. It's the best job in the world. Unfortunately I'll be retiring at the end of this year. Anyway I've figured out how I'll keep busy. You' ve guessed it I'll go fishing. (Not Deep sea, )Inshore, Fly fishing etc....

Right now we are starting our Marlin season. There is still plenty Mahi-mahi and Wahoos.We have a website but because of Answers rules I cannot mention it ,since it is of commercial nature.

Fishing is not the only thing in life but thank God for fishing.!

Very nice pics man. My buddy and I went fishing the other day and he caught 3 bass over 16 inches long. I caught one that was around 10.

I have been catching a few here and there... went fishing for them today and thought i had a huge crappie on... ended up being a 3 pound smallmouth.

havent been bass fishing in a while, to much water and the lakes are dropping. took my wife and kids crappie fishing yesterday. in about 3 hours we caught 31. used minnow from a corp of engineers boat dock at Hugo lake in Oklahoma. big fun.

my whole family went out and we caught about twenty small mouth bass that ranged from seven inches to nineteen inches. we caught six carp that weighed between four and eight pounds, a sucker that was about five pounds it was pretty much non stop action all day.

very nice pics good fishin. i went yesterday and didnt get a bite. but like i say its not just the fish we are out there for right.
