I wonder why is it that people becomes so attached to animals and are so intolerant with human beings.?

I suppose it is loneliness.. But why? to the point to kiss the animals mouth and even sleep with them. Some couples put their dogs in the middle. Oh my God! I do love my dog but he is in his place

out in the yard.

Well, I am not in support of dogs or other animals lying betwixt couples in relationships, or sleeping with me, but I do understand why some human beings can be more attached to their "pets", their animals while so intolerant with human beings.

Human beings are tainted, corrupt, racist, liars, backstabbers, thieves, untrustworthy, scheming in their hearts more often than not, immoral in their conduct for the most part, and common sense persons have that natural instinct as do all humans do, but some have forgotten it, of the wantonness to love and be loved. Unfortunately, the people who have been betrayed or treated in a disloyal type matter turn to the "purity" in animals. Animals simply want to love and be loved in return. They want a "master" to look up to and who will take care of them while they take care of their master also.

Animals are a living soul like humans are living souls also, but animal instinct is be loyal, to love, belong and be loved back. They also are more simple-minded in that they need to eat and drink, and have a domain to call home, much like humans, only animals don't steal or create endless problems for themselves or others. Only humans do that.

I now have two cats and two Akitas and I am happily content with caring for them, and they care for me also. They do not sleep with me, but they have very fine accommodations. They know they are loved deeply by me, and I know in return I receive an unconditional love untainted by the plagues of schemes, scams, infidelities, and betrayal. I know I won't see them after Armageddon if I do make it into the new system, but for now, I am content with love and loyalty these beautiful God-made creatures have provided me.

It is called Evolutionary Atheism or Cultural Atheism where an animal is given the same identical status as human beings and penalties are worse for those that harm animals than people! It could be viewed as beastiality!

Several Hate Crimes Bills, House Bills 254, 984, 2093 and 1592 do not protect Children under 18 years of age, pregnant women, the elderly, retired police officers, Court witnesses or military personnel that maybe off duty or on vaction! They have Silenced and taken away these classes of People and their first Amendment Rights!

No, your dogs place was taken from him the moment we decided that we could tame them and manipulate their breeding to create them more to our liking. Anyone who has a pet should treat it as a part of the family, when you take them into your home you have a responsibility to care for them. Yes, some people do go too far but most don't go far enough. Are you also offended by babies that spit up and have messy diapers? Maybe the reason are more tolerant to animals than people is because in today's society animals and babies seem to be the only true innocents left.

first we ARE animals! Didn't you take biology in school? we are in the animal kingdom, no the plant kingdom or whatever. so I am not sure really what your point is. second, evolution doens' make any sense to me either. If we evolved from apes then why aren't there any humans walking out of zoos? why haven't there been any ape/humans currentl;y there or about to become humans? I havent' found a record of this in all of printed history. Just curious.

It's definitely a cultural difference. In mine, animals stay outside where they belong. According to a traditional story, they're the ones who foisted disease on humans because humans killed them for food. I don't get the yuppies where I live now, how can they treat their own so badly, yet pamper their pets? Too much money and not enough sense.

We respect animals, but they aren't aniyvwi (people.) Some, according to tradition, used to be, but they left being human behind and became something else.

I have yet to see a dog shoot another dog , sell drugs , bring countries to the brink of war and i have never seen a dog go to the gas chamber for killing 16 coeds

Some people just love animals more than others.

Most dogs belong inside. Not outdoors.

I would rather a person than an animal, but I love animals too.

Tis the bonding. Animals are individuals with feelings like humans, therefore people treat them equally. They just want to be loved...

Read Gary Paulsen's Iditarod books...you might learn a little bit about animal friendship. (and the book doesnt suck - Winterdance- its really good...)

I find this completely offensive. I've seen people eat after their dogs, to the point I think I'm going to vomit.

My boss likes her dog more than her family, it's crazy.
