Can someone help me with a S.C.A.N. problem? Truly Serious Answers PLEASE!?
I am going to try to make this short & simple as much as I can and if anyone needs more information then I can give it ok. I made an online friend. she lives in S.C., moved to FL. Told me that her homegirl got put in prison so she got custody of her 6 kids: triplets, twins & one single. She had moved in with a white man. Next thing I know she has moved back to S.C. & told me that her homegirl got moved to a prison in S.C.. My concern is for theses children because one day she had posted that the youngest 3 were missing so I contacted her the next day and she said oh that was just a hoax, they weren't missing, I was bored so I did that., but it did get me money from a person on the internet to help me find them. now she wants to move to New York. I asked about the children & she says that she has changed their names, now this is without the parents knowledge. I think that she may have kidnapped these children, why would she change their names, it has only been a couple of weeks?
OK for starters before picking a best answer, I will not be scammed into giving anyone any money from the internet or by email or such. I got concerned about these kids because I am afraid that they have been kidnapped by this deranged woman. What would you do if, someone lived next to you & didn't have kids & then all of a sudden brought kids home with them? It would seem pretty scary wouldn't it.

Don't bend over backwards too far, or you may break. You're being lied to. Plain, and simple. If you want to help children, I'm sure there are plenty or legitimate organizations you can contribute to. Be careful of the Internet. It's a wide open space for criminals.

Assuming of course that there really are children involved. Some poor good person sent money to a scam artist. And there may well not be any children involved. But it would seem she may have tapped, by your own volunteering, into your weak spots, just like she tapped into the money scam. Don't trust the internet, and don't trust her. If she scammed someone, she'll scam you too. Why get involved in such a turmoil life of a con woman. Are you That bored with life? If there really are children involved, you'll never get to help them like you'd like to. Drop the case, let social services and law-enforcement do their jobs, and go help someone elses children closer by if that's what you need in your life. Get off this merry go round before it flings you into chaos, and an empty wallet. You'll get over it.

I believe you are in the process of being scammed. The state is not going to give custody of six kids to a flake like this.
Pretty soon you are going to get an e-mail asking for money to help feed, clothe, pay medical bills, etc for these kids.
