Will my birth control be as effective when taking Hydroxy cut?
I want to start taking that Hydroxy Cut, but I am worried that my bc pills won't be as effective. Does anyone know if I can take it. I don't want to end up prego.

I suggest calling your pharmacist or your doctor. Both of them can tell you about the specific drug interactions.
If you REALLY don't want to get pregnant-- don't rely on the internet for advice like this. If I said "sure, no problem" would you believe me? Well, you shouldn't.
Trust your doctor or pharmacist for such critical information, not anonymous people on the internet.

Usually birth control is still effective while taking antibiotics but it depends what type it is. If your doctor knows you were on both medications and didn't tell you to use back-up then you should be okay. Taking the pills late could reduce the effectiveness, but it depends how late. Under 12 hours and you should be okay, though it's really not a good habit to get into if this has happened several times.

Have your asked your pharmicist? Your doctor? He's the one that is prescribing the medications so I would think they would be okay. However, if pregnancy is not in your life right now, you better be real sure. If you don't ask them you better use an additional form of birth control. Good luck.

Yes you can take it and it won't affect your BC's. However, hydroxycut really doesn't work. Try Xantrex. Works a whole lot better.

If you don't want to end up pregnant why risk it at all, use condoms. Its always better to be safer now than sorry later.
