Is this a type of contraction ?

i am unsure i am only 21 weeks with my 1st so all i can say is that it could be. if in doubt call the maternity ward

The pinching is normal. its not a contraction, but the baby putting extra pressure on the cervix as descends to prepare for birth.

your probably having early labor. just keep track of them if they get stronger and about five minutes apart then you need to go to the hospital. and what you are probably feeling is the baby getting lower in the birth canal. good luck it sounds like you will be having a baby in the next two days.

could be minor contractions, that are causing baby to push down making a pressure feeling, when i went into labor with my first i had kinda the same thing, werent painful but felt like pressure down there, if it keeps up go in good luck

could be or the baby is moving down farther, just watch for blood, or stronger pains. good luck!
