    It's called a coin cell. Take your old one to Radio Shack. They have a great variety ob all types of batteries.

    The type of battery you are describing is generally called a "button battery" or a "coin battery". Unfortunately for you, there are quite a few kinds.

    If there are numbers on the battery, you can use RadioShacks Battery finder to get a more standard name for the battery, plus you'll get the chance to price it.

    the most common lithium coin type battery in use in the US is CR 2032. this would be a good place to start

    i think that would be a lithium battery, you can find it at wal-mart... i just bought one like 2 weeks ago :D
