all religions do!
of course there are factions that spew hate in every religion.
In Islam those are the Fundamentalists and Jihadists.
In Christianity those are the Pentecostals, Evangelicals, and Bible Thumping people. The spew hate about gays and non believers
In Judaism they are the Zionists
Really Fundamentalists in any religion are insane
an example for christianity is the late Jerry Falwell(Psycho)

All teach it or more accurately kindness and compassion.
Practice it? Well that's the hard bit.
For the above, none of the above religions teach love. Buddhism teaches compassion and the focus on minimising distress and emphasises simplicity as does Taoism. Hinduism focuses on good Karma as a way of life.
The whole "love" thing is a hangover from the guitar, beard, jumper and sandals christians of the 1970's.
In practice, the spiritual goal is to be kind, helpful and non-ego driven. If it helps, we can safely say that no political leader can be a spiritual leader. You would never go to war if you were truly moving towards spirituality and you would not want power over others.
Organised religions quickly become bodies of power, then politicians take an interest and those governing religion become politicians themselves.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am taught love and charity by this church. I practice it and so do the members that I know. But all churches are made up of humans, so you have to look at the teachings of the church and the majority of the actions of members. All churches are probably always going to have some crazies in it that do their own thing.

What defines a "serious religion" to you? That's kind of a loaded question. There are plenty of paths out there that teach love and truly practice it with followers that take those teachings very seriously. But the idea of "serious" is entirely subjective. For example, I have a very hard time taking the Bible seriously, just as many followers of the Bible have a very hard time taking the teachings of my faith, Wicca, seriously. It depends on what YOU define as "serious."

I can answer about Christianity. Christianity says, "Love thy neighbor." That's the crux of Jesus' message.
People like Mother Teresa practiced it. Lots of nuns in Calcutta still practice it. The nuns who recently got sick and died helping people with the Ebola virus in Uganda also practiced it. The Salvation Army practices it, too.

I think you should rephrase your question. A religion may teach one thing but it is up to its followers if they will practice it or not.

Many religions teach and practice love. What do you mean by a "serious" religion though?

I think the Quakers since when they first came to what is now Pennsylvania they named a city Philadelphia which means "brotherly love".
They are also against war.

Christianity. As a whole, it does. There are individuals who don't behave in loving ways.
But that's true of any group of co-religionists. There are always individuals who behave in ways contrary to the teaching they have received.
