Tomatillo Advice?
I started Tomatoes and Tomatillos from seed this year in late March. Tomatoes are doing great and were planted in the ground about two weeks ago (I'm in the Washington DC area).
The Tomatillos seem to be doing OK, but are still only about 4 inches tall, with just a couple leaves.
Anyone have any advice on the best way to grow them? What kind of soil? What should I use for feed? I'm trying to stay organic, so I'd appreciate natural, organic methods.
Thanks!!

first tomatillos are i believe a goose berry not a tomatoe,
Tomatillos are very easy to grow and require moderate watering and average soil. Once established the plants are relatively drought tolerant.
How to Grow
Seeds should be sown outdoors at least two weeks after the last frost. Plants should emerge in about 10 days and it takes about 65 days to mature for harvest.
Harvest when the husks start to open and well before the fruits turn light yellow check out this link below

I don't know about your plants specifically, but I can tell you that potting soil or worm castings is almost definitely the way to go when you plant just about anything. They are both LOADED with nutrients, but if you're palnting outdoors, I wouldn't use worm castings. They may attract worms that will eat your vegetation. You can call 1-800-TOPSOIL to get either one. They've got members all over the country and they probably have a member in your area. www.1800TOPSOIL.com to see if they for sure have someone in your area.
