hair dye question?

My brown hair pulls a lot of red and .because of the sun my deep brown hair has faded to lighter brown causing the red to look brassy..I want to dye my hair again so I went with Medium Ash brown to get rid of the red and restore my hair to a nice medium brown..Did i do the right thing..i am afraid of my hair looking GREEN..or black..any chance of that happining

    You should be OK but you should stick to a semi-perm product if you are not lifting color or covering grey. If it pulls red right away it is a problem with the formula and or application. If the red is later is after care and just maintenance that needs to be looked at. Follow directions for a retouch. Do not shampoo again once color is removed for 24-48 hours. Use only color safe shampoo. When color started to fade use a cool toned brown enhancing shampoo such as Artec. Use a hair sun screen when in sun for prolonged time. Best of luck.

    The most common thing to make your hair go green is by using a metallic dish to put the dye in or using something metallic to stir it with.

    You should be fine with ash brown.
