And I'm probably going to get thumbs down for this - there is a certain passage in the bible that many interpret to mean that the 'father' of the black race was cursed by his father for betraying him. His father had 2 other sons - one said to be the father of the white race and the other the father of everyone else.He then blessed his son 'of the white race' and prophesied that his descendants would rule the world and that the descendants of his brother (the black race) would be his servants.

That's how slavery was 'justified' in America and that's how racists today justify their hatred.

It's just another way of misinterpreting the bible to fit one'

Most people that are racist are basically jealous or poor and just dont understand or dont want to understand(being ignorant)different types of ppl of any race that theyre afraid of, instead of learning a person. The US has every race and culture and things arent gonna change so to us its like theyre beating a dead horse. And ur gonna learn that alot of religious ppl love saying it and not living it, some pick and choose what parts of the bible they want to live by so just let'em, life goes on and they have to answer to their god at judgement day.

You cannot be a true follower of God and be racist at the same time. Racism is evil no matter what race it is coming from. Christians are taught to love and forgive. No one is perfect but a real Christian has a heart filled with love. A racist has a heart filled with darkness and hate.

ive been asking myself this same question.... my family "claims" they are christians.... but as soon as i had a mixed baby i got kicked out tha family that was 5 years ago and they have put on a front now like they love us... but i still have to deal with the problem.... if your a christian you shouldnt judge anyone... only he can....thats why i quit goin to church because some lady said she hated i got in to tha mess that i did.... i just think theyre just as bad as these racist rednecks out there..... and their judgement day will come
