Married Men who can cook well?

hands down my hubby knows more about the mechanics of cooking, heat, spices, etc...he can throw together a meal out of a few ingredients. I can cook a little, I have a few dishes I have down pat, and I have a few dishes the family loves...and occasionally I can cook a really yummy meal....but hubby is the better cook, the more creative cook, the one who understands cooking. Mine is a 'crap shoot.'

My husband knows how to cook some very delish Italian food...and he's a whiteboy from Boston. He used to cook for me A LOT. But as soon as I cooked for him the very first time, he stopped cooking for me. That's how he fell in love with me =) so anyway, I think both the man and the woman should know how to cook.

For years my wife did it all..........was a stay at home mom with twins and their older (by 3 years) brother...kept the house, cooked....and yes, even baked her butt off!!!!

Now the twins are 16, my son is in college and over the past 4-5 years I have migrated into the kitchen. And though my wife followed recipies, I play it by ear ( or by mouth).

....and if you were to ask her, she would tell you that I am now the better cook.

My husband is the best cook! He's a pastry chef with over 15 years experience, and he's worked as a sous chef before as well. All in all, I am guaranteed fabulous food all the time! As for me, I don't even know how to cook.

My husband and I both cook, we cook very differently. We both have our strengths and weaknesses. I cook the most so I will say I'm the better cook.

I think I am the better cook when it comes to most things, but my husband is better with breakfast foods. I can't flip an egg without popping the yolk to save my life. LOL

I am a man and I do the cooking by choice.I would starve if I didn't. My wife is a poor cook but still a super wonderful woman and housewife by choice!

I am! my husband never tried to cook for once, since we got married.

eventhough, I know that he used to cook before I lived with him.

I guess he did not want me to get used to it.

I hate cooking but unfortunatly, my cooking is allright, as everybody tells me, or, unless they are lying all these years lol.?!

That would definitely be me! My wife can cook well if she has step by step instructions but me i can be creative and really make your mouth water. I love to cook and i think that's what makes it taste so good.

Both my partner and myself are great cooks.....we both have been single parents and raised our kids, so we both needed to learn to cook.

I think both partners should be able and willing to cook especially in this day and age when often both partners work!
