On a budget and needing some skin softening/toning solutions?

I am a college student without much beauty knowledge to speak of. As noted, I am on a budget but I'm still looking for some skin softening or toning solutions. Perhaps a home remedy?

I am a very pale person, and I do realize that many of these issues would go away with sun exposure and a slight tan, but the sun and I have a nasty track record (along with me getting a few cases of skin cancer). Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

My biggest problem areas are my arms and legs. My arms get bumpy and red like they're cold even when they aren't. These bumps aren't zits. I already have tried many lotions. My legs look constantly razor burned, even after lotion.

Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

When you do earn some $ treat yourself to some great skin care items that are pure and natural.

Until then head to the drug store and get a Lufa. Get a mit and one on a stick.

Find a pure and natural oil (nutragena) to use in the shower.

Use this daily on your problem areas on legs/arms.

Take some vitamin a and e orally

    rest

    water -

Use a pure and natural face wash

toner (witch hazel) make your own with an empty spray bottle.. spritz it on after you wash, pat dry.

Add a great day cream -

repeat at night with a night/eye cream

If you want color pick up a bronzer and or mineral powder foundation.

Look in to Berts Bee, Aveeno or Nutragena (I suggest Arbonne).. but until that $$ time.

Also once a week do a deep cleaning mask

and exfoliate too (I use booths) Twice a week -

and before doing so add a very warm wash cloth to face to draw the dirt to the surface.

The blotchy condition of your skin sounds like eczema. If the bumps are eczema, your doctor can prescribe a prescription medication in a topical cream. This should alleviate your problem, or at least reduce the severity.
