Who is the Real Judge of What is Right and What is Wrong ?
Is it the 100% Omipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God or our own individual egoes that interpret the Holy Scriptures in various ways ?
Who can be said to be the Real Brahmin (Priest) who's interpretation of the Holy Scripture to be right ? How can our individual ego Judge the right Priest and the correct Interpreter ?
Is it a process of asking within us and praying intensely to the 100 % Omni - All Mighty to show the way ? or Is it accepting the Interpretations and Opinions of the Majority as in a Democratic Set up ?
Where is God bound to be with ? Is it with the Majority ? or Is God not at all bound or limited even by anything including the various Scriptures ?
How can we judge to follow a course of action to reach the Godhood ?
Personally I trust intense ponderings within and without with an open mind ie non - judgemental to accept this Unlimited Omni God, whatever manner THAT may choose to manifest.
What are your thoughts ?
That's why perhaps the Ancient Visionaries stated, "Ekam Sath, Viprath Bahuda Vadanti", "There is only One God and scholars interpret THAT differently". May be Variety also an aspect God who likes Himself to be presented in different ways. Perhaps that's Tatvamasi, Thou Divine Art THAT.

Forgive me if I run afield here and there.
You are absolutely right to begin with. The scripture (Bible) interprets itself. There should be at least two other scriptures that support what you are looking at. In addition, if you read them right, they should not be in conflict. Finally the subject in this "paint by the numbers" process should be revelation about Jesus Christ. If we put our own thought to it without revelation -- well you see the results in Christianity today.
I cannot fully answer your next point. In Christianity the intrepretation comes through the prophets. The priests did not have prophecy as a primary function; although they did teach and handle civil matters. To prove scripture today is as described in the first paragraph; plus we have the Holy Spirit which further confirms the word.
In your third point; asking within and requesting with great intent, has merit. The Bible says that any man can ask wisdom of God and he will supply it without upbrading. Further the only belief requirement is that one believe in the existence of God and that he, God, is a rewarder of those who diligently (I think intensley fits here) seek him. This may be less work than getting through airport security these days.
God binds us by binding himself. He humbled himself to become a man and walk a mile in our shoes. He set aside his glory to do this. However, everything is laid out in Scripture because God knows the beginning from the end. As he found himself in scripture so must we. Both God and his creation are not a done deal but an unfolding underway. No majority. God cannot look away from a humble and contrite spirit. Consider and ponder this.
I find the idea of God limiting himself in a story told about Mahatma Gandhi. A mother came to him with her son and said. "I want you to tell my son to stop eating sugar. It is not good for him and he won't listen to me." Gandhi said, " Very well, bring your son back to me in one week."
A week later the mother returned with the boy. Gandhi said, "Son listen to your mother and stop eating sugar."
The mother was highly insensed. "I have had to make two trips and have gone through countless problems with my son over this matter. Why didn't you just tell him to stop eating sugar last week?" "Last week," said Gandhi, "I was still eating sugar." I hope you see how limitations need to work. Limitation is a principal of God and in no way negative.
Whatever course of action you take it must be from the heart. It is here that Christianity shines as the Holy Spirit constantly keeps our hearts in line with scripture. It is here so many people fail, looking to a church, a set of doctrines, or the leadership of chasrismatic or learned persons.
For me, God manifest in Christ Jesus to begin an entirely new creation from the cosmos we see now. It is a current process and I ponder these things daily.
I have never heard of an unlimited omni god. I just know the Alpha and Omega One. Scripture says that one day all men will worship one concept for God. That concept will be the "God of Forces". The God, whose nature is love, will be left out. Something to think about.
While I ponder, I take care to do it as an open question of the heart; rather than an intense mental activity. There tends to be much confusion of mental and emotional states as valid contact with God.
So -- Who is the real judge of what is right and wrong?
The God who is love is the real judge. But this same God also teaches that the words we are judged by come out of our own lips.
How hard is it then to be a judge? Even in this imperfect world they know this and secure a system by rejecting testimoney from the accussed. In the spiritual you bring your own tapes to your own judgement and stand in the presence of pure love. Without mercy and grace how shall any one escape?

I agree...I believe there are many religions...but, only one God...
I think many people will be surprised to learn when they go to heaven, that the God they worship is also the God of other faiths....he may have a different face, name, and stories/history, but is all the same God.
People have put God into a box, and limited him to their own understanding...I don't think that is right.
